This was the first time I was given complete creative freedom during an art class. I decided to play with using multiple different media's to create a representation of my thoughts.
What goes through your head when you are sitting alone with your own thoughts? I did a few sketches just to let my brain run wild.
In order to challenge myself, I wanted to look past just making a painting. How could I make my audience experience my headspace?

I decided I could gain the immersive experience I wanted by playing with green screens, filming, and editing. My goal was to overlay a video of me painting onto a video of me standing. This way I could make it look like I was painting my thoughts over myself as they came to me and began to take over my mind.

Because of a short time frame, I rushed to get green fabric to tape to my wall and get started. My set up was extremely limited, I even had to add a friend's green hammock to the floor.
The painting can stand on its own, but the meaning is infinitely expended by having the accompanying video. Because of my experimental approach, the video didn't come out as nearly cleanly as I'd like, but I learned a valuable approach to creating a unique experience.
